The documents, messages, and files you upload to Centralyn are stored securely and only accessible by you and the clients you choose to share them with. We do not access, scan, or use your client data for any purpose other than providing the service.

We automatically collect certain information when you use Centralyn, including your IP address, browser type, device information, pages visited, and actions taken. This helps us understand how our product is used and identify areas for improvement.

Cookies

We use the information we collect to:

  • Cloudflare R2 — document and file storage
  • Resend — email delivery for notifications and magic links
  • PostgreSQL hosting — database storage

All service providers are contractually bound to use your data only as necessary to provide services to us.

We may disclose information if required by law, such as in response to a valid court order, subpoena, or government request. We will notify you before disclosing your data unless prohibited by law.

Business Transfers

If Centralyn is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your data may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will notify you before your data is transferred and becomes subject to a different privacy policy.

Data Retention

We retain your account information for as long as your account is active. You can request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time by contacting us.

Client data (documents, messages, files) is retained until you delete it or your account is terminated. When you delete data, it is permanently removed from our servers within 30 days.

Backup archives may retain deleted data for up to 90 days for disaster recovery purposes.

Data Security

We take security seriously and implement industry-standard measures to protect your data:

  • Encryption in transit — All data is encrypted using TLS 1.3
  • Encryption at rest — Data is encrypted using AES-256
  • Access controls — Strict role-based access controls limit who can access data

Despite these measures, no method of electronic storage or transmission is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security.

Children's Privacy

Centralyn is based in the European Union, and your data is stored on servers located in the EU. If you access our services from outside the EU, your data may be transferred to and processed in the EU. By using Centralyn, you consent to this transfer.

We comply with applicable data protection laws, including the GDPR, and use approved transfer mechanisms (such as Standard Contractual Clauses) when transferring data internationally.
